The Basel Chapter of HCD
Our purpose
HCD serves as a platform that enables decision-makers and key influencers to meet, exchange ideas, and socialize in a casual yet professional atmosphere.
Founded as an after-work industry networking group in China, HCD has now expanded to over 20 chapters across four continents, with over 7,000 members. Members include MNCs, SMEs, and other stakeholders such as PE/VCs, academia, technology companies, consultancies, healthcare personnel etc., in pharma, medtech, diagnostics, digital health and consumer and wellness healthcare companies.

Conduct regular events, including networking as well as content-rich presentation/discussion events

Support the HCD professionalization journey including cash flow considerations, as and when needed, e.g. sponsorship, attendance charges for special events etc.

Be a good steward of the global HCD network by communicating, collaborating and sharing with the other chapters

Our Basel HCD Board
Basel HCD was created in 2020 by Salman Bokhari. Salman decided to step down from HCD in 2024 to make room for other priorities: the Advisory Board and our HCD members are very grateful for creating this community and the work accomplished.
Salman handed over his accountabilities to a Board composed of 7 professionals.
Each brings their diversity and their professionalism to the table, all aligned to develop a meaningful and impactful network of healthcare professionals in Basel.
